On December 7, 2023, the exhilarating Part 2 of the West African Vehicle Academy Diagnostics Cup for the Rana Motors Sector took center stage at the vibrant Rana Motors Building Block C. This unique competition showcased the prowess of five branches and five individuals, each representing a different Rana Motors branch: Graphic Road, Spintex Road, Takoradi, Kumasi, and Tema.
The competition unfolded over a dynamic 6-hour showdown, featuring two captivating folds—the Knowledge test and the Practical test—each lasting three hours. This time, a twist was introduced as the total scores of the two participants from each branch were combined, fostering a sense of camaraderie and teamwork.
Guiding us through this riveting contest was the astute facilitator, Daniel Morel Acolatse, a junior trainer from the West African Vehicle Academy (WAVA). His keen eye for fairness was evident, with live score updates keeping the anticipation high on all screens. The break revealed an exciting tie between the Kumasi and Takoradi branches, setting the stage for a nail-biting finale.
As the dust settled at the end of the contest, the spotlight shone on the triumphant Felix Malibunang from the Takoradi branch, securing the coveted first position. Bright Atieku, representing the Graphic Road Branch, claimed a stellar 2nd place, while Rueben Teye Asamani from the Tema branch clinched an impressive 3rd position.
